Deposited at the Center in 2003, among its collections there are almost all the oldest photographic processes and typologies (daguerotypes, calbotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, panotypes), as well as their later developments such as carte de visite, stereoscopic photographs and autochromes.

The collection is completed by almost a thousand images by the most prestigious Spanish and foreign photographers; as well as a wide selection of the most primitive gadgets related to photography and image: zoograscopes, verascopes, stereoscopic viewers, magic lanterns, patheoramas...

Given its chronology, which goes back to 1845 and broadly covers up to the first decades of the 20th century, the materials in this collection are the fundamental basis of the journey through the history of photography that is offered in the permanent exhibition hall of the headquarters from Guadalajara.
