Letter from Eduardo Jimeno Peromarta, pioneer of Spanish cinema and owner of the Gran Palacio de Proyecciones Animadas in Madrid, written in Valladolid on September 21, 1903 and addressed to the mayor of Guadalajara:
Dear Sir, I beg you to reply to my letter of the 14th that I addressed to you from Madrid, whether or not you can grant me the land that I request for the installation of a barracks in order to exhibit a precious cinematograph during the fairs that are held in that capital next October. I repeat my plea in requesting an answer, because I am interested in knowing whether or not I can have the site requested so that, otherwise, I can go to another capital before the end of the month when the fair ends in this square where I have it installed [... ].
