Exhibition: Lost art in the province of Guadalajara. Renaissance and Baroque imagery

The exhibition of the Center for Photography and Historical Image of Guadalajara "CEFIHGU" dependent on the Provincial Council comes to Jadraque with the collaboration of the parish of San Juan Bautista and the coordination of the City Council. Said exhibition includes photographs of images: Virgen de la Soledad, Nuestra Señora del Amparo, Virgen del Carmen de Guadalajara; photographs of Our Lady of the Rosary of El Vado and Tendilla, as well as up to 35 images from the collections of Tomás Camarillo and Francisco Layna. The exhibition is completed with a collection of photographs of Holy Week in Jadraqueña and local imagery, including those of the carvings that appeared in the parish of San Juan Bautista, photographed by Camarillo, now disappeared, and others from the legacy of the parish priest D Andrés Pérez Arribas, on loan to CEFIGHU. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, March 31, at 7:00 p.m., at the “Perlado Verdugo” Foundation. It can be visited during Holy Week, every day, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and until April 21 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, in the mornings. March 2012
