The exhibition deals with the group of women of the Mendoza family who lived during the Renaissance (from the mid-15th century to the last third of the 16th century). Group that brings together four generations of daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, of the Marquis of Santillana, and that forms a feminine cultural, economic and spiritual network of extraordinary power. It is intended to search for an identity, that contextualizes them historically, that gives them visibility within the historical processes that they lived through and that attributes to them the historical dimension that they deserve within the rich panorama of the Renaissance.
