The Guadalajara Exhibition in transformation. Cortijo-Ballester photographic collection (c.1956-1970), comes to the municipality thanks to the Center for Photography and Historical Image of Guadalajara (CEFIHGU) and the Alovera City Council through its Municipal Archive, to show us an important legacy Photograph of the married couple of intellectuals, Francisco Cortijo and Rosario Ballester, which covers approximately the year 1965 to 1970. Among the photographs we can see those referring to the reconstruction and restoration works of the Infantado Palace. Other images document towns in the Alcarria Baja and their modern hydraulic infrastructures, the Bolarque and Entrepeñas reservoirs, or the early industrialization of the province with images of the VICASA glass factory inaugurated in Azuqueca de Henares in 1963 and the nuclear power plant of Zorita de los Canes, first of the Spanish (1968). Other photographs refer to traditional themes, popular festivals, monuments, etc. from the province of Guadalajara
